K7 West is a mountain peak located in the Hushe Valley in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. It is part of the Karakoram Range and is one of the most difficult peaks to climb due to its steep, jagged rock face. The peak has an elevation of 6,934 meters (22,749 feet) and is known for its technical climbing routes. The peak was first climbed in 1984 by a Japanese expedition. Since then, it has become a popular destination for experienced mountaineers. K7 West is also known for its stunning views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers, making it a popular spot for trekking and photography.

Trekking Info

  1. 1 Islamabad
    Head north on Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway/M-1
  2. 2 Take the exit onto Swat Motorway/
    Take the exit onto Swat Motorway/M-11 toward Swat
  3. 3 Continue
    Continue on M-11 until it ends at Chakdara
  4. 4 Turn right onto N-45
    Turn right onto N-45 and continue for approximately 9 kilometers
  5. 5 Turn left onto N-95
    Turn left onto N-95 and continue for approximately 100 kilometers
  6. 6 Turn right onto Gilgit-Skardu
    Turn right onto Gilgit-Skardu Road/N-15 and continue for approximately 200 kilometers
  7. 7 Turn left onto Astore Valley
    Turn left onto Astore Valley Road and continue for approximately 40 kilometers
  8. 8 Turn right onto Shyok River Road
    Turn right onto Shyok River Road and continue for approximately 190 kilometers
  9. 9 Turn left onto Hushe Road
    Turn left onto Hushe Road and continue for approximately 65 kilometers until you reach Hushe village.
